We got to go to Disney on Ice Celebrates 100 Years of Magic last night. I never let the kids stay up late on a school night, but I couldn't pass this up. Everyone did well. They were mesmerized by the entire show. The part of the show with Mulan was my favorite. Hudson was the last to fall asleep in the car. They had so much fun. Summer fun at Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey

We were at the US Airways Center in Phoenix to see Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey. Wednesday night to see their show Built to Amaze. It was so fun. My youngest who is 18 months kept dancing excitedly and calling the elephants "moos" which is what he calls cows. We all had fun and it was a great way to spend the evening as a family. Disney on Ice presents Treasure Trove Review

My kids loved Disney on Ice presents Treasure Trove. We went last night to the show at the US Airways Center. It runs through Sunday if you want tickets. The kids were pretty tired before they left, so I was a little nervous about how they would do. Hudson didn't even have an afternoon nap like usual, but even he watched most of the show and loved it (till he succumbed to sleep). It was fun to watch it with my sister Blair and her family. My favorite part of the show was the Lion King segment. The way they portrayed the stampede at Mufasa's death was awesome. Even though I thought the general theme was a little week, I loved the portrayal of the stories and that so many original songs were used. Here are a few pictures from the night.

One of the things that I like best about being a mom is to surprise my kids with something special. I don't believe in letting your children have whatever they want, but treating them once in a while is so fun. I love to share in their excitement.
